Composition
Each tablet of 104mg contains Ferrum phosphoricum 3x 20mg, Kalium muriaticum 3x 20mg, Magnesium phosphoricum 3x 20mg, Natrium muriaticum 6x 20mg and Natirum sulfuricum 3x 20mg
Indications
Cold in the head, acute catarrh, rattling hollow cough, painful respiration, pain in chest & bronchitis.
Cough may be voluntary or as a result of reflex action due to irrigation in any part of the respiratory mucous membrane. It may be dry, loose and spasmodic.
• DRY COUGH: It is due to affections of the throat, laryngitis and in pre-pneumonia stage. It could be due to tuberculosis or may be of nervous origin.
• LOOSE COUGH: It is seen in bronchitis, pneumonia and advanced stages of tuberculosis.
• SPASMODIC COUGH: Spasmodic cough like the whooping cough is associated with hoarseness of voice and has laryngeal involvement.
• COLD: It may be of infective origin where the mucous membrane of nose and nasopharynx are involved. It is associated with sneezing and profuse watery discharge. Simple exposure to cold may give rise to febrile conditions, headache and initial otitis.
• CATARRH: It is a general term covering cold coryza & cough where profuse watery discharge is prominent. ]
• RHINITIS: Rhinitis is an allergic disorder characterised by bouts of sneezing, profuse watery nasal discharge, and smarting and watering of the eyes. Hay fever is due to sensitivity to grass pollens and occurs during the months of May to August; perennial rhinitis is due to sensitivity to a variety of allergens, such as house dust, and may occur throughout the year.
NOTE
This medicine does not cover cough in bronchial carcinoma, pulmonary tuberculosis and cardiac asthma.

Ferrum phosphoricum
It is indicated in the first stage of inflammatory affection, congestion of lungs, short painful tickling cough, croup, dry hard cough, hoarseness & headache due to cold. Initial febrile conditions are also covered by this medicine.
Kalium muriaticum
It is indicated for loud, noisy cough, acute & spasmodic, rattling & whooping cough; mucus tenacious & white.
Magnesium phosphoricum
It is an antispasmodic medicine covering neuralgic pains and cough problems of neuralgic origin. Asthmatic oppression of chest, spasmodic cough, whooping cough, voice hoarse, larynx sore and raw. It helps in intercostal neuralgia.
Magnesium phosphoricum
It is indicated for cold and cough accompanied by headache, chest pain, shortness of breath. To some extent, it is helpful in whooping cough as well.
Natrium sulfuricum
It is indicated for difficult breathing and must hold chest when coughing. Humid asthma, rattling in the early morning – cough, thick ropy & greenish.
Contra-indication
None. It can be used along with other medicines and measures. It is safe, non-toxic, and non-addictive drug with no reported side effect.

Dosage & Direction for use
Dosage
Adults 4 tablets, children 2 tablets, at a time, four times a day at intervals of three hours. Take the tablets half an hour before or after meals, and preferably allow them to dissolve slowly in the mouth.

How to use Bioplasgen No. 6?
It is to be taken as an internal medicine. Unless otherwise indicated, adults could take 4 tablets, and children 2 tablets, at a time, four times a day at intervals of three hours. If complaints are not relieved, consult a specialist. We strongly recommend that the medication should be taken as per the physician’s advice.
